CISAC steps up sanctions against unscrupulous CMO’s

The recent events in European collective management forced CISAC and GESAC to bring the issue of strengthening the measures towards the financial impropriety of CMO, being a member of these confederations, to the agenda. Thus, Greek collective management organization AEPI has become at risk of expulsion from CISAC and GESAC. According to recent audit the financial shortcomings took place in CMO’s work. CISAC’s Board of Directors is evaluating measures to address the findings of the audit of the Greek society.

Ukrainian agency of copyright and related rights, having bitter experience of hard times and now being meticulous about transparency and openness in its work, supports the pursuit of strong sanctions for every violations connected with royalty payments.
