Another victory of UACRR – Sting live performance is licensed on record-breaking royalty amount!

Ukrainian agency of copyright and related rights continues its series of breaking news. Today UACRR set a higher standard for Ukrainian copyright industry in the live performances royalty collections – the amount of royalty, collected for the concert of British rock-legend Sting, bettered the fresh record made in regards to a recent Depeche Mode performance.

Top-billed Sting live show, held in Kyiv in Palace of Sports, October 6 resulted in the highest royalty amount in Ukrainian copyright history, proving that due to the efforts of UACRR Ukraine becomes a friendly territory for the authors from all over the world. Today our agency does its best to improve image of Ukraine on the world’s copyright market. To recap, the amount collected for the Depeche Mode concert, not to speak of Sting performance, is higher than a total royalty amount paid by all Ukrainian radio stations during last year.
