Nowadays arguably everyone has at least one mobile phone. And we all intersect with concepts such as ringtone, the ring melody of the phone or ringback tone, the melody of a call, which is installed instead of beeps etc.
For using music (as ringtones, real tones, voice services, fulltracks, RingBackTone etc.), mobile operators shall obtain a permit through the conclusion of a licensing agreement and pay royalties for the granted right.
In this case, the mobile operators exploit music by playing, recording, and public notification (Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine “On Copyright and Related Rights”).
